Some stops along the way include Rancho de Peña, Santa Isabel, Nuevo Palomas, El Aguaje, San Nicolas de Carretas, and Nonoava.

Departure from Parral:

The city of Parral is much closer, about 195 km away, taking the road from Santa Bárbara towards the Sierra Tarahumara, passing through Balleza and Baquiriachi, with an approximate duration of three hours.
