Hello everyone!

Visiting an ancient fort at Isla Mezcala near Lake Chapala

Thanks for visiting. As a Mexican, I am very proud of my country. It never ceases to amaze me all the places and cultures I find when I travel which I didn’t even think existed.

And it never ends, there’s always a new place, a new beach, and a new adventure to get into. Despite what everyone else says (and the media), Mexico is not a dangerous place at all; at least it hasn’t been for me.

Of course, like any other country in the world, there are specific areas that you don’t want to get into. I remember my first trip to Los Angeles, walking around downtown ended up in the scariest neighborhoods that I’ve ever seen, and almost got jacked.

Also, if you come down here looking for trouble, well, that’s another story.

But yeah, I guess I can say Mexico is very safe and the people super warm and welcoming. I created this blog to share my experiences traveling this country and to answer questions you may have regarding your trip down here.
